Our Glendora High School Cross Country team is interested in attending a meet in Seattle, Washington! Away meets are remembered by most who attend as one of the best times in their lives as a high school students and members of the GHS XC Team. We want to include anyone who would like to attend, making our trip available to both JV & Varsity athletes. In order to keep cost down we must start booking flights and hotels ASAP. This survey is to gather information from athletes who are interested in attending and to consider fundraising efforts.

Optional Invitational: Nike Twilight XC Invitational
Location: Cedarcrest Golf Course 6810 84th St NE, Marysville, WA 98270
Dates: October 4th - 6th
Cost: Approximately $450 (fundraising will be offered to reduce cost)
Approximate time leaving/returning: looking at leaving LAX airport Friday, October 4th at 10am and return Sunday, October 6th by 6 or 7pm. Once we figure out flight times we can make a schedule for the whole trip.
Hotel: Best Western Plus Arlington, Washington
Possible Places to visit?: Space Needle, Pike Place Market, Museum of Pop Culture, Museum of Flight. No scheduled confirmed yet.
So far we have about 30 athletes interested in attending our optional Seattle Trip. This is the final opportunity to commit to our trip. Please complete the survey if you'd like to attend. We’d like to begin accepting a $150 deposit for the trip, so we can purchase airfare early and hope to keep the cost down.
We will be breaking up the payments as follows:
$150 due by July 15
$150 due by August 15
$150 due by September 15
Please make checks payable to Glendora Athletics. Your deposit of $150 secures your spot and purchases airfare. Deposits are not refundable. Payments can also be given to Coach Brandon at practice or at the Bonelli BBQ and Mammoth meeting. We will be offering fundraising opportunities since more than 83% of families would prefer to fundraise. Fundraising opportunities will be coming soon. We will discount the final payment due in September depending on fundraising efforts.
