Varsity athletes are to arrive GHS Circle Drive by 5:20 am. A bus will transport students to the Riverside Course. We encourage athletes stay for the entire duration of the meet to support their teammates.

QUALIFYING TO FINALS: There will be twenty four (24) teams in each final race. (Specific to Riverside Cross Country Course and could be reduced in the future at different venues)
In divisions with three (3) qualifying heats, the top eight (8) teams in each heat will qualify to finals. Individuals who finish in the first ten (10) actual places and are not members of qualifying teams will also advance to the finals.
In divisions with two (2) qualifying heats, the top twelve (12) teams in each heat will qualify to finals. Individuals who finish in the first fifteen (15) actual places and are not members of qualifying teams will also advance.
C. STATE QUALIFYING INFORMATION
The first seven (7) teams in boys divisions I-V and girls division I-V will automatically qualify for the State Championships in Fresno (Woodward Park) on November 30, 2019.
A maximum of five (5) individual finishers who are not members of qualifying teams and who finish in the first twenty (20) places in their respective divisions, will also advance to the State Championships. COACHES ARE REMINDED VIEW/PRINT STATE BULLETIN IF THEY HAVE QUALIFIERS @ WWW.CIFSTATE.ORG.
