13th ANNUAL COLT CLASSIC
Saturday, March 7th
8:30 am - 6:00 PM (CIF order of events - See image below)
Athletes are to arrive 1 ½ hours prior to their event. Athletes will need to find their own transportation to the meet. Covina District Field 200 W. Puente Ave. Covina, CA 91723
Adults: $7 (cash only)
HS Students w/ID and Children under 13: $5 (cash only)
Kids: $3.00 (cash only)
Meet snacks, water & gatorade will be available for athletes. Covina Snack Bar may be available. Meets do run long, so be sure to bring snacks. AWARDS: Colt Classic medals will be awarded to the top 6 places overall in individual events. Also, the meet will be scored and team championship trophies will be awarded to the top 3 schools in each division. Spikes- Please make sure all track athletes have 3/16” spikes or less. Spikes will be checked and sold at the entrance to the stadium.
Warm Ups- The warm up area is located in the infield. Non-competing athletes will not be allowed to set up in the infield area.
Clerk of the Course- The clerk of the course is located in the infield. Athletes must check in 30 minutes prior to their event or they will be scratched.
Scoring and Medals- Team scoring is 10-8-6-4-2-1 for all levels and events. Medals are awarded to 1st through 6th overall. Time/marks for any heat/flight can score and medal if they are in the top 6 overall.
Starting Heights- Starting heights will be determined after entries are received. Since it is an early season meet, our philosophy is to give everyone an opportunity to successfully compete.
Implement weigh in will be at the shot and discus ring prior to each event.
